Abivax SA announced positive Phase 3 ABTECT 44-week maintenance trial results for obefazimod in treating moderate to severely active ulcerative colitis, meeting the primary endpoint of placebo-adjusted clinical remission at Week 44 for both the 25 mg (∆39.3%) and 50 mg (∆40.3%) doses. The trial also reported a 10.4% placebo clinical remission rate and met all key secondary endpoints. The company intends to submit a New Drug Application to the FDA in late Q4 2026.
