American Electric Power Company, Inc. has executed an unconditional agreement to develop a fuel cell generation facility in Wyoming for approximately $2.65 billion, exercising a previously held option for solid oxide fuel cells. The project is supported by a 20-year offtake arrangement for 100% of the facility's output with a high investment-grade third party. This development provides significant long-term revenue visibility and mitigates demand risk for a major capital expenditure.
