Alamos Gold Inc. reported second quarter 2026 results with production of 130,600 ounces and net earnings of $270.4 million ($0.64 per share). The company lowered its full-year consolidated gold production guidance to 510,000–560,000 ounces and increased total cash cost guidance to $1,175–$1,275 per ounce, primarily due to a seismic event at Young-Davidson that reduced mining rates. The Island Gold District achieved record production of 67,500 ounces driven by higher underground mining and milling rates. Alamos returned $67 million to shareholders in the quarter, including a quarterly dividend of $0.04 per share and $50 million in share repurchases. It also eliminated remaining legacy Argonaut gold hedges for $92.3 million. The company operates as an intermediate gold producer with mines in Canada and Mexico.
