Albemarle Corporation appointed Eduardo De Salles Bartolomeo as an independent director, effective July 21, 2026. Bartolomeo, the former CEO of Vale S.A., will serve on the Board's Audit and Finance Committee and the Safety, Sustainability, Operations & Capital Committee. Under the company's non-employee director compensation program, he will receive an annual retainer of $120,000 and an annual restricted stock grant valued at $170,000. Albemarle is a specialty chemicals company that produces lithium and bromine for the energy and mobility sectors.
