Alvotech announced a strategic licensing and commercialization agreement with Lotus Pharmaceutical for proposed biosimilars to durvalumab (AVT34) and emicizumab (AVT87). The deal grants Alvotech semi-exclusive rights in the U.S., where it retains development responsibility and serves as exclusive supplier, while Lotus commercializes via subsidiary Alvogen. Lotus holds exclusive rights in eight Asian markets including South Korea and Taiwan. The agreement has a potential value of up to $150 million in upfront and milestone payments plus ongoing supply revenues.
