AMCAmc Entertainment Holdings, Inc.
On September 23, 2026, AMC Entertainment Holdings, Inc. priced $2,000 million of 8.875% first lien notes due 2031 and $850 million of first lien term loans bearing interest at SOFR plus 4.50%. These transactions, combined with a previously announced $1,120 million second lien term loan facility, are expected to close around October 5, 2026. The net proceeds will fund a tender offer for the company's outstanding 7.500% Senior Secured Notes due 2029, redeem non-tendered notes on February 15, 2027, and fully repay Muvico’s $903.4 million Senior Secured Notes due 2029, existing term loans for the parent company and Odeon Finco PLC, along with related fees. This significant debt refinancing activity aims to strengthen the balance sheet of the world's largest movie exhibition company.
