Advanced Micro Devices announced that director Joe Householder will retire from its Board effective August 19, 2026, following over 11 years of service. The Board appointed Tim Ryan as a new independent director on the same date to succeed him. Concurrently, KC McClure was named Chair of the Audit and Finance Committee and joined the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee, while Lead Independent Director Nora Denzel joined the Audit and Finance Committee. Householder’s departure is not due to any disagreements with management. AMD operates in the semiconductor industry, designing and manufacturing high-performance computing and AI processors.
