Amprius Technologies entered into an Other Transaction Agreement with the U.S. Government on September 23, 2026, for Project acCELLerate to develop domestic high-energy density battery production capabilities compliant with Section 842 of the National Defense Authorization Act. The fixed-price award is valued at up to $75 million, representing the entire government share with no cost share required from the company. Approximately $22 million has been obligated for the base period running through September 2028, disbursed against accepted milestones. The project aims to establish scalable manufacturing of silicon-anode lithium-ion pouch cells for small Unmanned Aerial Systems. Amprius Technologies operates in the advanced battery and energy storage industry.
