AMTD IDEA transfers $209.8M hotel assets to TGE in exchange for 198.6M shares

AMTD Digital Inc., a subsidiary of AMTD IDEA Group, transferred controlling interests in four premium hotel assets to The Generation Essentials Group (TGE) on November 2, 2026. The transaction involved the AMTD IDEA Tribeca Hotel, a 50% interest in Ritz-Carlton Perth operations, 100% of Dao By Dorsett Hornsey London, and 80% of Upper Regalia Kuala Lumpur. TGE satisfied the aggregate purchase price of US$209,766,000 by issuing 198,630,381 newly issued Class A ordinary shares to AMTD Digital. The deal consolidates hospitality assets under TGE, which focuses on hospitality and VIP services. AMTD IDEA Group operates as a diversified institution and digital solutions conglomerate connecting companies with global markets.
