Ashland Inc. announced the appointment of Peter Thomas and Allen Spizzo as independent directors effective July 27, 2026, following the entry into a Cooperation Agreement with stockholder Ancora Holdings Group, LLC. The agreement includes voting commitments and standstill obligations for Ancora until the 2028 annual meeting. Concurrently, Ashland formed a Capital Allocation Advisory Committee to advise on capital strategy, chaired by Scott Tozier with Guillermo Novo as a non-voting member. The Board temporarily expanded to eleven members before reducing to ten at the 2027 Annual Meeting.
