ASNDAscendis Pharma A/S

On October 26, 2026, Ascendis Pharma announced new data from its Phase 2 PaTH Forward and Phase 3 PaTHway trials demonstrating early, sustained improvements in kidney function for adults with hypoparathyroidism treated with TransCon PTH (palopegteriparatide) for up to five years. A pooled analysis of 139 patients showed a mean estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) improvement of 7.2 mL/min/1.73 m² by Week 26 and 9.6 mL/min/1.73 m² by Week 52, with eGFR remaining stable through the end of the trials. By Week 52, 68.9% of patients achieved a clinically meaningful eGFR increase of at least 5 mL/min/1.73 m², and 49.6% saw an increase greater than 10 mL/min/1.73 m². Additionally, 98% of patients achieved independence from active vitamin D, and 95% from therapeutic calcium doses, with no new safety signals identified.
