AngloGold Ashanti reported a 12% year-over-year increase in third-quarter EBITDA to $1,568 million, driven by higher average gold prices received per ounce which rose to $4,239. Free cash flow for the quarter was $722 million, down from $920 million in the prior year period due to increased capital expenditure and tax payments. The company declared an interim dividend of 71 US cents per share, totaling $361 million. Full-year gold production guidance remains reaffirmed at 2.8 million to 3.17 million ounces.
