AXIS Capital Holdings Limited reported third-quarter 2026 net income available to common shareholders of $202 million, or $2.75 per diluted common share, a decrease from the prior-year period. Operating income was $229 million, or $3.12 per diluted share, with an annualized operating return on average common equity of 15.7%. Gross premiums written rose 11% to $2.4 billion, driven by growth in the insurance segment, while the combined ratio stood at 94.0%. The company returned $141 million to shareholders through buybacks and dividends. AXIS Capital is a global specialty underwriter providing insurance and reinsurance solutions.
