On June 11, 2026, AXT, Inc.'s subsidiary, Beijing Tongmei Xtal Technology Co., Ltd., entered into a Long-term Supply Agreement with Nanjing Casela Technologies Corporation, Ltd. Casela committed to purchase indium phosphide (InP) wafer substrates for a total price of RMB 173,000,000 (approximately $25.4 million) during the 2027 calendar year. The agreement requires a 50% prepayment within 15 business days of signing, with the remaining 50% due by December 31, 2026. Casela must purchase at least 80% of the fixed aggregate quantity or pay a cancellation fee. AXT operates in the semiconductor industry, manufacturing compound semiconductor substrates.
