Banner Corporation announced that the Washington State Department of Financial Institutions approved its proposed merger with Pacific Financial Corporation on August 11, 2026. Subsequently, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation granted approval for the transaction on August 12, 2026, subject to final consent from the Federal Reserve.
