Beacon Financial Corporation announced the retirement of Wm. Gordon Prescott as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, effective July 31, 2026, following more than 18 years of service. John B. Eagan was appointed to succeed him in both roles, effective August 1, 2026. The Board also adopted a 'Good Leaver' Policy governing equity award treatment upon retirement for eligible management and key employees. This leadership transition reflects a succession plan established over a year ago as part of the company's merger agreement and integration strategy. Beacon Financial Corporation is the holding company for Beacon Bank, a full-service regional bank serving the Northeast with $22.3 billion in assets.
