Birks Group appoints Davide Barberis Canonico as President and CEO effective October 30

Birks Group Inc. announced the appointment of Mr. Davide Barberis Canonico as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective October 30, 2026. Mr. Barberis Canonico previously served as Interim President and COO since August 2025 and will continue to serve on the Board of Directors. Niccolò Rossi di Montelera remains Executive Chairman, having also served as Interim CEO since August 2025. Birks Group is a leading designer of fine jewelry and an operator of luxury jewelry, timepieces and gifts retail stores in Canada.
