bioAffinity Technologies announced it will present new research data at the CHEST 2026 annual meeting of the American College of Chest Physicians. The presentation covers an investigational sputum-based test designed to characterize lung inflammation and detect protein biomarkers associated with asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The findings demonstrate the ability to measure cellular and soluble inflammatory protein biomarkers, including biologic drug targets such as TSLP, CRLF2, IL4-Rα, and IL-5. These tests are currently in development, have not been validated or approved by the FDA, and are not available for clinical use. The company operates in the biotechnology sector, developing noninvasive diagnostic solutions for early detection of lung diseases.
