BTQ partners with MoonPay Korea to secure won-backed stablecoin infrastructure

BTQ Technologies has entered a strategic partnership with MoonPay Korea to serve as the security partner for its full-stack on-chain infrastructure supporting Korean won-backed stablecoins. The collaboration focuses on implementing post-quantum cryptography (PQC) across issuance, distribution, wallets, settlement, and last-mile delivery. BTQ will develop a joint quantum-transition roadmap and conduct a proof of concept with Korean banking institutions to test its Quantum Secure Stablecoin Network for quantum-safe transaction signing and key management. This initiative connects BTQ's security technology to MoonPay's global payments network, which serves over 35 million customers in approximately 180 countries. The partnership aims to ensure long-term resilience against future quantum computing threats while supporting Korea's emerging regulated stablecoin market.
