BW LPG subsidiary sells BW Loyalty for low $80M, generating ~$52M gain

BW LPG India, a 52%-owned subsidiary of BW LPG Limited, has entered into an agreement to sell the 2008-built VLGC BW Loyalty. The vessel is sold for a price in the low US$80 million range, expected to generate a gain on disposal of approximately US$52 million and net cash proceeds of roughly US$66 million after taxes and transaction costs. Delivery to the buyer is scheduled upon completion of the current time charter, no later than December 2026. BW LPG Limited is the world’s leading owner and operator of LPG vessels.
