Celanese expands Board from ten to eleven members, elects Luis Fernandez-Moreno

Celanese Corporation expanded its Board of Directors from ten to eleven members and elected Luis Fernandez-Moreno as a director, effective September 16, 2026. Mr. Fernandez-Moreno is an independent director with over 40 years of experience in the performance materials and specialty chemicals industries, including leadership roles at Ashland, Arch Chemicals, and The Dow Chemical Company. He currently serves on the boards of Ingevity Corporation and Select Water Solutions. This appointment adds strategic expertise to the board as the company advances its priorities.
