Constellation Energy clears 18,875 MW in PJM capacity auction at $325 price

On July 14, 2026, Constellation Energy Corporation announced that all of its power plants in the PJM market cleared the capacity auction for the 2028-2029 planning year, effective June 1, 2028. The company achieved a total cleared volume of 18,875 MW, consisting of 15,700 MW from nuclear units and 3,175 MW from fossil and other sources, at a price of $325. Capacity revenues for nuclear units are included in the gross receipts calculation for the Production Tax Credit. The company operates in the energy industry as a producer and supplier of electricity.
