Cullinan Therapeutics announced updated results from the Phase 1 dose escalation trial of its FLT3xCD3 T cell engager, CLN-049, for relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). The data included 87 enrolled patients across 13 cohorts. At the 12 µg/kg target dose level with a low starting step-up dose, the overall response rate reached 53% and the complete response with partial hematologic recovery rate was 26%. A two-step dosing regimen mitigated cytokine release syndrome and transaminase elevations. The company will present these findings at the ASH Annual Meeting in December.
