Coronado Global Resources revises full-year saleable production guidance to 14.0-14.5Mt, down from 16-17Mt

CODQLCoronado Global Resources Inc.

Coronado Global Resources Inc. filed a quarterly activities report for the period ended September 30, 2026, revealing third-quarter earnings of $44 million and revised full-year guidance. The company lowered its saleable production forecast to 14.0–14.5 million tonnes from 16–17 million tonnes due to geological issues at the Buchanan mine in the U.S., slower-than-expected ramp-up at Mammoth, and reduced Coal Handling Preparation Plant throughput at Curragh. Average mining cash costs per tonne produced were raised to $105–$110 from $88–$96. Despite lower volumes, third-quarter earnings rose significantly from $7 million in the prior quarter, driven by higher metallurgical coal prices and improved operational efficiency at Curragh. Available liquidity increased by $57 million to $155 million, supported by a US$75 million prepayment from Glencore. Coronado Global Resources Inc. operates metallurgical coal mines in Australia and the United States.
