On July 29, 2026, Isabelle Courville retired as Chair of the Board of Canadian Pacific Kansas City Limited, effective immediately. The departure was not due to any disagreement with company operations or policies. Gordon Trafton, a long-term board member and former Vice-Chair, was appointed as the new Chair in accordance with the Board's succession plan. Ms. Courville served on the Board since 2013 and chaired it since 2019, playing a pivotal role during the company's transformational combination with Kansas City Southern. Mr. Trafton brings extensive railroad experience from his 33-year career at Canadian National Railway. CPKC operates as a transnational railway linking Canada, the United States, and Mexico.
