Carpenter Technology appoints Jed S. Freeman as General Counsel following James D. Dee retirement

James D. Dee, Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Carpenter Technology Corporation, will retire effective December 31, 2026, after sixteen years with the company. The Board has appointed current Deputy General Counsel Jed S. Freeman to succeed him as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, effective January 1, 2027. Mr. Dee will remain employed through his retirement date to ensure an orderly transition. This leadership change was not due to any disagreement regarding operations or policies.
