Clinuvel Pharmaceuticals provided an update on the clinical development of SCENESSE (afamelanotide) for vitiligo. The company is completing the CUV105 late-stage study, which enrolled 210 patients globally, with topline results anticipated in December 2026. This study evaluates SCENESSE combined with adjuvant narrowband UVB against the standard of care in patients with darker skin types. The pivotal Phase III CUV107 study is scheduled to begin in November 2026, following EMA protocol review, and will recruit 300 patients over 12 months.
