BRP Inc. reported a net loss of $134.1 million CAD ($1.84 diluted EPS) for the three months ended July 31, 2026, compared to net income of $23.5 million in the prior year period. Revenues increased 18.5% to $2,236.8 million, driven by Year-Round Products growth, but gross profit margin contracted significantly from 21.1% to 11.7%. The decline was primarily attributed to Section 232 tariffs on steel, aluminum, and copper imports into the United States and a $74.8 million unfavorable impact from a supplier financial restructuring. Operating expenses rose due to increased research and development investments. For the six-month period, revenues reached $4,628.6 million with a net loss of $5.2 million. The company repurchased 2,258,400 shares for $201.7 million under its normal course issuer bid program during the first half. BRP Inc. designs, develops, manufactures and sells powersports vehicles including snowmobiles, personal watercraft, and off-road vehicles.
