Draganfly establishes U.S. defense subsidiary, appoints former Acting Secretary of the Navy Thomas Modly as Chairman

Draganfly Inc. announced the creation of Draganfly Defense USA, a dedicated subsidiary designed to support expansion in the U.S. defense and national security markets by providing focused governance, cybersecurity, and compliance structures for mission-critical unmanned systems. The company appointed Thomas B. Modly, former Acting Secretary of the Navy, as Chairman of the new subsidiary's board; in connection with this role, Modly will relinquish his position on Draganfly Inc.'s main board to focus exclusively on the defense unit's growth and governance. Brigadier General AJ Pasagian (Ret'd) continues to lead U.S. defense operations as President. This move follows recent strategic steps including the acquisition of Skip Dynamix and a development contract with the DEVCOM Army Research Laboratory for counter-UAS systems.
