AXIA Energia S.A. completed the unwinding of cross-holdings with ISA Energia Brasil S.A. in special purpose entities Interligação Elétrica do Madeira S.A. and Interligação Elétrica Garanhuns S.A. on July 31, 2026. AXIA Energia sold its 49% stake in IE Madeira to ISA Energia, while AXIA Nordeste acquired the 51% interest in IE Garanhuns previously held by ISA Energia. The transaction generated net proceeds of R$1.167 billion for AXIA Energia. Post-transaction, AXIA Energia fully consolidates 100% ownership of IE Garanhuns, and ISA Energia fully consolidates 100% of IE Madeira. This strategic restructuring alters the ownership structure of key transmission assets in Brazil's power sector.
