Edible Garden AG Inc. entered into a non-binding memorandum of understanding with Square Roots Urban Growers, Inc. to co-develop premium clean-label functional ready-to-drink beverages using nutrient-dense crops optimized for bioactive compounds supporting cognitive health and metabolic wellness. The collaboration involves joint product development with commercial manufacturing at Edible Garden’s facility, structured in three phases: partner discovery and crop selection led by Square Roots, followed by formulation led by Edible Garden. Square Roots will cultivate specialty ingredients and coordinate laboratory testing to support marketing claims, while Edible Garden supplies bulk greens, leads drink formulation, and produces the final product. This partnership supports Edible Garden’s expansion of its Prairie Hills facility into a dedicated RTD clean nutrition manufacturing hub as part of its Farm-to-Formula strategy. Edible Garden AG Inc. operates in the controlled environment agriculture industry, delivering organic produce and sustainable products through vertically integrated greenhouses and processing facilities.
