Elite Pharmaceuticals elects Aqeel Fatmi and John LaRocca to Board as size expands from four to six directors

On October 28, 2026, the Board of Directors increased its size from four to six members and unanimously elected Aqeel A. Fatmi, Ph.D., and John W. LaRocca, Esq. as Class II and Class I directors, respectively. Dr. Fatmi brings over four decades of pharmaceutical industry experience, including roles at Patheon Inc. and Banner Life Sciences, while Mr. LaRocca offers more than three decades of legal expertise in the generic drug sector, having served as General Counsel for Y-mAbs Therapeutics and Aerie Pharmaceuticals. Both directors will serve until the next annual meeting and receive standard non-management director compensation. Elite Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is a specialty pharmaceutical company that develops and distributes niche generic products.
