Enanta Pharmaceuticals announced that President and CEO Jay R. Luly will retire by February 1, 2027, following 23 years of leadership. Dr. Luly will serve as a strategic advisor through the end of 2027 to support the transition. The Board has initiated a search for his successor. Concurrently, the company appointed Tara L. Kieffer, previously Chief Product Strategy Officer, to the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer. Enanta is a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing small molecule drugs for viral infections and immunological diseases.
