Equity Residential has entered into a settlement agreement to resolve a class action lawsuit alleging antitrust violations related to the use of RealPage revenue management software. The company will pay an aggregate of $56.0 million into a settlement fund, which is expected to reduce 2026 GAAP earnings and Nareit Funds from Operations (FFO) but will not impact Normalized FFO.
