Euroseas Ltd. announced on June 15, 2026, that it has exercised options to construct two additional 1,800 TEU gearless, fuel-efficient feeder containerships at Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co., Ltd. in China. Each vessel has a total consideration of approximately $32.26 million, to be financed through a mix of debt and equity. The new vessels are scheduled for delivery in December 2028 and March 2029. This expansion follows two similar orders placed in April 2026 and aims to capitalize on tight market fundamentals in the feeder segment. The company operates in the container shipping industry as an owner and operator of container carrier vessels.
