First Breach drone prototype reaches 100 mph in flight testing

First Breach announced that its proprietary Hellbender drone prototype achieved a speed of 161 km/h (100 mph) during flight testing without a payload. This performance exceeds the company's prior specifications and matches the maximum groundspeed permitted under FAA Part 107 regulations for small unmanned aircraft operating without a waiver. The firm is currently pursuing FAA authorization to test beyond this regulatory limit. First Breach targets initial prototype completion in Q4 2026 and scaled production of more than 2,500 drones per week by Q2 2027.
