Fluence Energy names Siemens veteran Axel Meier interim CEO after Julian Nebreda departs

Julian Nebreda departed as President and Chief Executive Officer of Fluence Energy, Inc., effective immediately on October 30, 2026. The Board appointed Axel Meier, a long-time director and former Siemens CFO, as interim CEO effective November 2, 2026, with an annual base salary of $1,015,000. Ricardo Roizen was named interim CFO, replacing Ahmed Pasha, who also departed. Additionally, John Zahurancik left his role as Senior Vice President and Chief Customer Success Officer. Fluence Energy is a global market leader delivering intelligent energy storage and optimization software for renewables and storage.
