Teradyne agrees to buy $300M of FormFactor shares in strategic collaboration

FormFactor announced a broad technology collaboration with Teradyne aimed at accelerating the development and deployment of next-generation semiconductor devices for high-performance compute, advanced packaging, and AI infrastructure. As part of this partnership, Teradyne agreed to purchase 2,234,887 shares of FormFactor common stock in a private placement transaction for approximately $300 million. The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026, subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals. This strategic equity investment combines FormFactor's probe and interface expertise with Teradyne's automated test platforms to enhance production readiness for emerging semiconductor technologies. FormFactor operates as a leading provider of essential test and measurement technologies along the full integrated circuit life cycle.
