General Electric Company announced an agreement to acquire Consolidated Precision Products (CPP), a leading manufacturer of highly engineered castings, for $11.75 billion in cash. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2027, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. GE Aerospace plans to finance the deal with approximately $7 billion in existing cash and new debt. The acquisition aims to expand mission-critical castings capacity to support growing airfoil demand across commercial engines, aftermarket services, and defense sectors.
