GERNGeron Corp

Geron Corporation announced the decision to discontinue its Phase 3 IMpactMF clinical trial evaluating imetelstat for JAK inhibitor relapsed/refractory myelofibrosis. The independent Data Monitoring Committee recommended stopping the study, advising that it was unlikely to meet its primary endpoint of overall survival. No new safety signals were observed that would alter the known safety profile of the drug. Geron plans to conduct a detailed analysis of the data and share findings with the scientific community at a future date. The company remains committed to growing demand for RYTELO in the U.S. and expanding access outside the U.S. Geron is a commercial-stage hematology biopharmaceutical company focused on blood cancer treatments.
