Greenfire Resources Ltd. closed a C$775 million rights offering on September 16, 2026, issuing 114,985,163 common shares at C$6.74 per share. The oversubscribed offering raised approximately C$774 million in gross proceeds, which were used to fully repay a C$575 million bridge facility and reduce other indebtedness from the recent acquisition of Connacher Oil and Gas Limited. Post-closing leverage stands at 1.2x Debt/2027E Adjusted EBITDA at US$70 WTI, with Waterous Energy Fund maintaining its 72% ownership stake. Greenfire is an oil sands producer actively developing thermal oil assets in the Athabasca region of Alberta.
