Golar LNG Limited has agreed to acquire the LNG carrier Grace Dahlia from NYK Line. The vessel, built in 2013 with an LNG storage capacity of 177,427 cbm, will be converted into Golar’s fourth floating liquefied natural gas unit (FLNG #4). This conversion provides approximately 20% larger storage capacity compared to the existing FLNG Esperanza. Redelivery is scheduled for 2029 at CIMC Raffles’ Yantai shipyard in China. The company operates in the offshore energy sector, specializing in floating LNG production and storage solutions.
