Structure Therapeutics Inc. reported positive clinical data for its oral small molecule programs targeting chronic weight management on September 8, 2026. For ACCG-2671, a dual amylin and calcitonin receptor agonist, Phase 1/2a single ascending dose results showed a ~6-day half-life supporting once-weekly dosing, no serious adverse events, and up to 3.3% mean body weight reduction at Day 24 with the 10 mg dose. The company has initiated the multiple ascending dose portion of this trial, with topline data expected in the first half of 2027. For aleniglipron, a selective GLP-1 receptor agonist, 72-week results from the ACCESS open-label extension demonstrated durable weight loss without plateau, achieving up to 16.2% reduction at the 180 mg dose and over 20% in more than one-third of participants in the highest cohorts. Treatment discontinuations due to adverse events remained below 5%. Aleniglipron is currently being evaluated in two Phase 3 trials (ACCOMPLISH-1 and ACCOMPLISH-2) with top-line data expected in the second half of 2028.
