GSI Technology reported second-quarter fiscal 2027 net revenues of $6.0 million, within the guidance range of $5.7 million to $6.5 million, compared to $6.4 million in the prior-year period. The company posted a net loss of $7.0 million, or $(0.18) per diluted share, widening from a $3.2 million loss year-over-year and a $4.8 million loss in the previous quarter. Operating expenses rose to $10.4 million due to increased R&D spending for the Plato chip design and non-routine legal fees related to an internal assessment of foreign vendor matters. Gross margin contracted to 48.5% from 54.8% a year ago, driven by unfavorable product mix and higher manufacturing costs. The company provided third-quarter fiscal 2027 revenue guidance of $5.0 million to $6.0 million with gross margins expected around 38% to 40%. GSI Technology develops associative processing unit (APU) technology for high-performance computing and edge AI applications.
