Hain Celestial appoints two new directors as two resign; Aurelius deal stalls

The Hain Celestial Group appointed Patricia Ferrari and Richard Shinder to its Board of Directors on October 11, 2026. This coincided with the immediate resignation of directors Shervin J. Korangy and Carlyn R. Taylor due to other professional commitments. Each new director will receive a monthly cash fee of $30,000. Separately, the company reported that closing its planned sale of its International business to entities affiliated with AURELIUS failed because lenders did not amend the credit agreement by the October 12 deadline. The company continues discussions with both Aurelius and its lenders regarding the transaction and capital structure. Hain Celestial Group operates in the natural and organic food industry.
