HCW Biologics Inc. entered into an Exclusive Distribution Agreement with Akron Biotech on September 4, 2026, for the global commercialization of its product HCW11-006 as a reagent in cell therapy manufacturing, excluding China. The five-year agreement is subject to due diligence and product testing, with closing expected by November 30, 2026. Upon closing, HCW Biologics will receive $400,000 in advance payments: $200,000 at closing, $100,000 within 30 days of a subsequent Supply Agreement execution, and $100,000 on each of the first two anniversaries. Akron will also make quarterly technical support payments. HCW Biologics Inc. is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing fusion immunotherapeutics for autoimmune diseases, cancer, and senescence-associated dysplasia.
