Helix Energy Solutions Group shareholders approved key proposals to finalize its all-stock merger with Hornbeck Offshore Services, including the conversion of Helix to a Delaware corporation and an increase in authorized stock. The transaction is expected to close on September 1, 2026, creating a combined entity where Hornbeck securityholders will own approximately 55% and Helix shareholders will own approximately 45%. The new company will operate under the name Hornbeck Offshore Services, Inc., trading on the NYSE as HOS.
