HUTCHMED (China) Limited announced positive high-level results from the global Phase III SAFFRON trial, demonstrating that ORPATHYS (savolitinib) plus TAGRISSO (osimertinib) provided statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvements in progression-free survival and overall survival compared to platinum-based chemotherapy. The study enrolled 338 patients with MET-driven EGFR-mutated non-small cell lung cancer who had progressed on prior TAGRISSO treatment. These findings reinforce the combination's efficacy and support global regulatory registration efforts for this biomarker-directed therapy.
