Hut 8 Corp. announced the full commercialization of the second phase of its one-gigawatt Beacon Point data center campus in Nueces County, Texas. The company secured a second 15-year, $9.8 billion lease for 352 megawatts of IT capacity with an existing high-investment-grade tenant. This transaction doubles the tenant's contracted capacity at the campus to 704 megawatts. The total base-term contract value for the full 1,000 MW campus is now $19.6 billion. The company's total contracted AI data center portfolio has reached 949 MW with an aggregate base-term contract value of $26.6 billion.
