IMC Rare Earths discovers high-grade terbium zone at Block H outside existing 1.1Bt resource
IMCIMC Rare Earths Ltd
IMC Rare Earths announced a new shallow, high-grade, terbium-rich ionic clay discovery at Block H of its Itarantim project in Brazil. Hole AD-00555 intersected a continuous seven-meter interval beginning two meters below surface, grading 5,695 ppm TREO and 38 ppm Tb4O7, including three meters at 7,841 ppm TREO and 52 ppm Tb4O7. Initial leach testing recovered 64% to 83% of terbium from the upper zone. The discovery lies outside the company's existing 1.1 billion tonne Mineral Resource, offering potential for future resource growth. Management plans infill drilling at Block H and diamond drilling at Block D to define continuity and test deeper extensions. IMC Rare Earths is a mineral exploration and development company focused on rare earth elements.
